Refund policy

In-Person Sales — Switzerland

All ALP-X bikes and components are sold following an in-person viewing by appointment. By proceeding with a purchase, the customer confirms satisfaction with the condition and specification of the product.

Returns

Due to the in-person nature of all sales, returns are not accepted once collection has been completed, unless the product is found to have a manufacturing defect. This is consistent with your right to inspect the goods prior to purchase.

Defects & Warranty

By collecting your order in person, you confirm that you have inspected the item and accept it in the condition received. Any visible defects or damage must be raised at the time of collection before taking possession of the item.

For manufacturing defects that are not visible upon inspection, please contact us at alpx.bike@gmail.com with a description and photos of the defect. Warranty terms follow the applicable manufacturer's warranty policy. Free after-sales support is provided excluding normal wear and tear, consumable parts, components, crashes, accidental damage and misuse.

Your statutory rights under Swiss law (CO Art. 197 et seq.) regarding hidden defects remain unaffected by this policy.

Custom & Special Orders

Custom-built or specially ordered bikes are non-refundable and non-returnable. This will be confirmed in writing at the time of order.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of CHF 500 is required to reserve a bike or secure an appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the total purchase price upon completion of the sale.

The deposit is non-refundable unless ALP-X cancels the appointment or is unable to fulfil the order. In such cases, the deposit will be refunded in full within 5 business days before the scheduled shipment date via the original payment method.
